CARLINGFORD HOLIDAY HOMES TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Acceptance and confirmation of your booking is subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Booking Deposit:

A booking deposit of €200.00 per property is required to confirm accommodation. Confirmation will be issued to you upon receipt of the deposit. The balance is due 21 days prior to arrival. Payment can be made using Laser Card or Credit Card.  An additional key deposit of €50.00 is payable when checking in.  The €50.00 deposit will be returned to the customer on return of the key at check out.

 

2. Cancellation Policy:

In the event of a cancellation, the following applies: The booking deposit is non-refundable, but the option to change your booking for other dates is available provided that more than four weeks’ notice of cancellation is provided. Changes to reservations will be subject to availability. It is strongly recommended that guests take out holiday insurance to cover the possibility of cancellation charges.

 

3. Check In/Check Out:

Check in time is 6.00pm, Check out time is 12 Noon. These times should as far as possible be adhered to.

 

4. Special Requests:

Please let us know when booking if you require a cot. Bedding for cots is not supplied. Please note we do not supply stair gates in all of our houses.

 

5. Unsociable & Disruptive Behaviour:

Noise levels at all times especially after dark are to be kept to a reasonable level to avoid disturbance to other guests. Rental of the property may be terminated with no refund if the occupier behaves in a disruptive manner, causes damage to the property, and causes a disturbance or any other circumstances unacceptable to management.

 

6. SMOKING:

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all houses.

 

7. LIABILITY:

All personal belongings and vehicles (together with their contents) are left at the property entirely at the owners risk and management will accept no liability for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused to the Guest or to the Guests’ personal property during their stay at the Holiday Home.

 

8. Damages or Breakages:

All houses are to be left as found.  Our secure online system automatically holds your details for 14 days.  If the property is returned in an unsatisfactory and dirty condition, (this includes badly soiled towels \ bed linen, damage to furniture or any breakages) you will be notified and your account will be charged.

 

9. CLEANING AND BED LINEN: Final cleaning is included in the rental charge. Bed linen is supplied free of charge. Where a holiday home is being rented for more than 1 week you may liaise directly with the on-site supervisor if fresh linen is required.

 

10. REFUSE DISPOSAL:

All refuse is to be bagged and left at the back door.

 

11. COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION:

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998-2003, all personal and other information and details collected will not be disclosed to any third party except without the express written authority from the holidaymaker. We may retain your information for the purposes of contacting you to advise of special offers etc with regard to Carlingford Holiday Homes
